We have been closely affiliated with Carshalton Methodist Church since the inception of the group; we benefit hugely from having dedicated storage areas for section and camping equipment and are fortunate enough to have a reduced hall hire, allowing us to keep our running costs down. This means we can keep our subscriptions requests as low as possible for parents.
In return, we are asked only to attend 4 church parades during the year - this is a requirement for all members of the group.
There are also a couple of other dates of parades away from the church which we encourage our members to attend - please see below for details.
Parade Dates 2026
Sunday 15th March - Mothering Sunday Service
Sunday 26th April - District St George’s Parade & Promise Renewal - this is District event which ALL members are encouraged to attend
Sunday 5th July - Parade Service
Sunday 4th October - Harvest Service - tbc
Sunday 8th November - Remembrance Service at Carshalton Ponds - this is an extra parade outside of the church requirements
Sunday 6th December - Gift Service
